Please note that the ‘Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic’ clinic is for surgical referrals and NOT medical referrals.
Solent Medical Services (SMS) provides a Community Fibroscan service ONLY for Southampton facing practices (this is because any onward referrals will only be made to UHS)
Referrals are for patiens >18yo with an ELF >9.5 and a negative non-invasive liver screen (normal results for Autoantibodies, Immunoglobulins, Hepatitis screen, Ferritin)
All of this information (including result values) MUST be included in the referral
