Women’s physiotherapy services care for women who have musculoskeletal problems related to their pregnancy, and urogynaecological and pelvic floor conditions.

HHFT’s page on their Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service also contains leaflets and links to videos on pelvic floor exercises, bladder retraining, and post-partum care.

Pregnant and up to 10-day post-natal women with pelvic girdle pain and urogynaecological issues are able to self-refer to the Obstetric Physiotherapy service by calling 02381 208 967.

UHS’s page for the Obstetric Physiotherapy Service also contains a patient factsheet on bladder retraining, and links to useful websites and apps.
