eRS listing: WHCCG New Community Cardiology RAS Service – Cardiology – MHH – ARA01
This service is available to patients with suspected heart failure, murmurs, palpitations and atrial fibrillation in Mid Hampshire and Eastleigh Test Valley North, with clinics in Winchester, Andover, Four Marks and Chandlers Ford.
The Community Cardiology Service works closely with hospital providers such as Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
The Community Cardiology Service is led by Dr Peter Savill and all service administration is based at Watercress Medical.
Please note all patients with suspected heart failure should have a NT-Pro BNP test performed before referral. This is a good rule out test for heart failure with a normal value effectively excluding the condition.
