This comprehensive half-day course is designed to empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to proficiently perform ring pessary fitting and exchange. Participants will benefit from a structured learning experience that includes supervised practice to achieve competencies in this crucial aspect of women’s health care.

This course is open to a wide range of registered healthcare professionals, including:
– General Practitioners (GPs)
– Pharmacists and Paramedics
– Physiotherapists

Course Content – Conservative and Surgical Management of Uterovaginal Prolapse (Subject to Minor Changes)
Duration: Half-Day Session (Morning TBC)
1. Conservative and Surgical Management of Uterovaginal Prolapse Theory (1.5 hours): This segment delves into the theoretical aspects of managing uterovaginal prolapse, providing participants with a solid foundation of knowledge.
2. Practical Demonstration Session on Ring Pessary Assessment and Fitting on a Model (1.5 hours): Attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assessing and fitting ring pessaries through a guided practical demonstration session.

1. Demonstrate a critical understanding of key discussion points with patients regarding uterovaginal prolapse and its management.
