The guidance attached outlines the recommended medical management of men and women who have (or are at risk of) Osteoporosis.

It contains algorithms for those with previous fragility fracture and glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis, as well as a comprehensive table on clinical risk factors for osteoporosis, drugs associated with osteoporosis, and therapeutic agents available for the management of osteoporosis. On the penultimate page of the document is an algorithm for long term treatment monitoring of those on bisphosphonates.
