We are looking for a GPwSI to join our established trust wide Community Eating Disorders Service. The service operates a Hub and Spoke Model, with the Hub based at April House, in Southampton and the spokes operating from the Bluebell Rooms at Kingston Crescent Surgery, Portsmouth and the Bridge Centre, Basingstoke.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The service has a well established multi-professional team which consists of Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy professional groups, as well as health care support workers and an administrative team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This post is part of our newly commissioned Physical Heath Monitoring Hub. As part of this team you will be involved in the assessment and management of the physical health needs of those referred to the service, and will provide advice/support to primary care. This role also has an educational component related to improving awareness and management of the physical health needs of those with an eating disorder within the wider community.
